SYNTHETIC & ADVANCED GEM IDENTIFICATION COURSE

This course has been designed for people who have already attended or are attending course on Colored Stones & Gem Identification (Course No.1) of this institute. The course primarily covers RUBY, SAPPHIRE & EMERALD in great detail. It enables the student to learn about characteristics of these gems from different mines. As learning about different mines and sources is highly important for trade of Gems, the course helps in going further into the trade.

The second part of the course covers SYNTHETIC & TREATED Rubies, Sapphires & Emeralds . It enlists the method of manufacture along with identification features. Apart from this various treatments carried on to improve these gems & their identification is also covered in detail.

These Gems from different mines shall be demonstrated practically and so shall be synthetic Gems made by Flux, Hydrothermal Method etc. The same thing goes for treated Gems like HEAT TREATED & DIFFUSION TREATED ONES. The students handle these stones practically.
